Spiegelworld bringing Devotchka, Jose Gonzalez and others to NY

Last year Devotchka co-wrote the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack with Mychael Danna and headed to New York for a couple of charged intimate shows at Spiegelworld. These included an impressive performance by one of Spiegelworld’s many acclaimed burlesque dancers, of which there will be no shortage when Devotchka returns on July 24th and 25th.

Jose Gonzales also made several appearances in New York last summer, including Summerstage at Central Park and an intimate show at Brooklyn Lyceum. The 25-year-old has just finished recording a new album scheduled to release later this year, and will make an exclusive NYC appearance on August 21, also at the Spiegel Tent.
Others listed for a performance include Lady Sovereign, Shout Out Louds and Badly Drawn Boy, amongst others.
