A.R.E Weapons & more tonight

There isn’t a whole lot going on tonight, but A.R.E Weapons at Santos Party House should be fun. Monotract, La Otracina and Myty Konkeror are playing at Cake Shop, Richard Lloyd (of Television) at Southpaw, and Bob Mould at Maxwell’s. Though I detest metal of any form, never mind its typographical crimes, I can’t resist mentioning that Extreme Violence’s “brutal death metal from Greece”  will be had at Union Pool, where Orphan is hosting a release party, and Krallice is joining them. The brutal Greeks intrigue me for still using a cjb.net forward for their website, which does look like it was built in 1994, and for this note on myspace:

MySpace has deleted the pictures (covers) of two of our works (our first demo “Addicted to Cannibalism” and our album “Ecstasy in Pain”) because they contained “offensive material”! LOL
We will post external links to these pictures so that if someone wishes he can see them! (It’s not offensive for everyone in this world, there are people who love this music)!”

My favorite part: LOL

Playlist
A.R.E Weapons: F’ What You Like
