Tuesday isn’t a night darling to many, and tonight’s unfamiliar names may give the impression of crap-band night, but Market Hotel promises fantastic fun. The incredibly charged Fiasco are playing, and you can download a previous show from the diligent NYC Taper. This on the band’s myspace:

Known for their chaotic live shows and technical proficiency, they’ve been described as a mix of punk, noise, and math rock, and have traveled to Austin for SXSW and as far as Bosnia for the Sarajevo Film Festival. However, their favorite places to play are people’s houses.

Continued after the jump.

Nothing beats people’s houses, but there’s more: Ninjasonik, comprising of Reverend McFly and DJ Teenwolf (with Telli Gramz backing vocals), sings about stretching canvases and going to Pearl Paint, not to mention spandex and tight pants. No scene is complete without a band singing about key elements of the scene! Bat Attack is perhaps less crucial to trend commentary, but the song “Hope Is Big” can produce a buzz in your heart, and that should suffice. The Homosexuals will bring some essential British punk, Philadelphia’s trio Pony Pants and Brooklyn’s So So Glos will bring some dirty rock you can dance to. All of this happening at Market Hotel.

Cambridge’s “aural sunburst” music-making happy couple Drug Rug at Rocks Off Concert Cruises with Apollo Sunshine and Sam Champion // White Lies plays an early show at Mercury Lounge // Brazilian Girls at Apple Store Soho for free // Smoothly delivered rhymes coated with strings and horns from Flobots, joined by People Under the Stairs and chaotic “ghetto tech” from Busdriver at Bowery Ballroom // The Electric Tickle MachineDinowalrusTeenage Souls & Ed SchraderHiss Golden Messenger at Cake Shop //  Shwa, Heth & Jed at Mercury Lounge.

Slow internet is the death of all.
