Posts about Fashion Week

Holy crap, my favorite of the season, Leanne Marshall, put together an intense collection for Fashion Week (I like hers and Korto’s equally, though Korto’s is definitely more classy and elegant, and Leanne’s is more architectural, which I have a soft spot for). She and Korto both seem to have snatched some fabulous non-white models as well, which in itself should be considered a small victory for the fashion world.
The pieces I don’t like in Leanne’s collection are the awkward skirt in picture #3 and the weird curves that result in a pointy edge in the top seen in picture #4.

Woah, Korto’s collection is pretty damn solid. Outshines the preceding collection by Kenley much more easily than I’d imagined. But the bottom part of the short green dress with the front slit is kind of scarry.

Lots of poofy shoulders and poofy dresses from Kenley, but most of them are pretty slick, whimsical and gorgeous.

Oh my God, the horror! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! I’m going to have to listen to Dark Dark Dark after this to clear the bad aftertaste.

Wow, looks like the Natalie Portman challenge winner Suede made a whole bunch of horrible clothes.

When I’m not going to music shows, I’m watching Project Runway on Wednesday nights, and as it happened that I had access to photographers at today’s Project Runway show at Fashion Week, I’m going to go nuts and post photos. Here comes Jerrell’s collection, and you’re seeing these as I’m seeing them, which is to say I haven’t gone through all pics yet, let alone pick the best ones! So, yeah, you go nuts too.
